What have garlic, lemon and Christmas trees in common?

...their fate, at least, if their nets land in my trash heap. Here is the latest addition to the upcycled bag collection. For the sides and the shoulder strap I was fortunate to have been given a piece of white leather.

Be my Valentine

Where I come from nobody knew or cared about Valentine's Day. It wasn't until our family moved to the States for a few years in 1993  that I heard about it. It was a very big deal there even in school: The kids would come home with loads of little I-like-you-letters. Of course, immediately you wonder what happens when you don't get such Valentine messages. Well, we returned to Germany 6 years after and - what wonder - both Halloween and Valentine's Day had arrived as well.
So, here is my Valentine for you. True to form from net ends.
